2nd and 3rd Grade Parent/child Book Club

2nd and 3rd graders come with your parent for a 2 session book club with reading teacher Helene Imber. The first session we will read the first chapter of Shelter Pet Jelly Bean Squad. Reading a book with your child is a great way for you to experience the magic of reading together, and the opportunity to discuss it in this parent/child book club offers a fun and enjoyable opportunity to participate in interesting and lively discussions. The first meeting on April 16 at 4:30 will be a fun activity, book intro and reading the first chapter together. The second session on April 30 at 4:30 will be a book discussion and the choosing of the next book. Books will be available at the circulation desk beginning April 2 at the circulation desk. Register both parent and child beginning February 15, 2018.
