WHIMSICAL SHRINES

Monday April 3rd 6-8pm

Led by Lavinia Wiggins. 

                                                     

Transform a simple tin (Altoid) box into a cleaver “shrine”.  The starting point is your choice, find and item or photo and then fill the box with relevant items.  Your focus could be a person, event, feeling or sentiment; anything that resonates with you.  This will be a fun class as we create backgrounds and assemble our items to produce a special art piece.

Please bring:  

Scrapbook paper, or decorated paper to use as collage elements

Anything  you may want to include in your shrine (papers, embellishments, ribbon, etc)

Craft paint, 2-3 colors of your choice

Scissors, Glue (red sticky tape, quick dry glue not Elmer’s)
